what I bought in August

40% of my purchases this month were secondhand. That feels like a great balance and something I’d like to continue. It’s better for my wallet and the environment, but not as good for sharing links. If there is something you love from a previous season and are wanting a backup or the same item in a different color, I highly recommend searching Poshmark, Mercari and/or eBay. Those are my favorite sites for online secondhand shopping, especially if I know for sure what size I need. I don’t do as much in-person secondhand shopping, but I do occasionally find things at Plato’s Closet.
