February goals
In February I will be working on all the things I didn’t get done in January. Ha! Turns out I completely overshot my January productivity levels. That said, I did find value in having goals written down, and I made progress on all but one. Since I only completed half my goals last month, I’m just adding one new one to the list for February.
TO-DO LIST
Sign Finch up for kindergarten. I’m almost done with the paperwork! Would love to finish this before March when the online registration opens. Pushing to get this done before the end of this week. We are both sad he won’t have a day at home with mom once he goes to the big school!
Solidify plans for Rooney’s birthday. Roo turns 9 at the beginning of March and after giving her some options, she decided she wants to have an online Roblox party with some friends. She did not want to wait until the weather is nicer to have an outdoor friend party. So, we need to send invitations, order sugar cookies and prep goodie bags. We will also likely take a mini trip somewhere during spring break to celebrate her birthday as a family.
Book a place to stay in South Dakota this summer. We are excited to take our first family road trip this summer to the Badlands/Mount Rushmore and need to start planning! For some reason I have not had a lot of energy to put into this lately. I typically love planning trips but I’m a bit overwhelmed with this one!
Organize the laundry room. I got a start on this in January, but I needed more bins, and they were out of stock for a while. I finally ordered a bunch (they came today) and hope to finish this project soon! Also need to get labels for the bins…
Submit our tax return. Eric and I love doing our taxes! (I don’t think we’re normal.) It’s honestly a fun date night for us. Rooney even got in on the fun last year! We have used TurboTax for the past seven years and highly recommend it.
Winter is always a tough season for me, but I have been looking forward to February because I have my style analysis this month! I also have some fun plans + gifts for my family for Valentine’s Day. I’m excited that we are inching closer toward spring!
