Rooney is FOUR! We spent the day together as a family - donuts for breakfast, tacos for lunch, a trip to Target, eight puzzles and a couple games of Zingo, fro yo, a bath with mommy, and Lunchables for supper. All of her favorites! It was a really great day. Our gift to her was a Rapunzel Tower Play Set, which she loved.

As soon as her eyes opened this morning, I gave her a hug and said, "Happy birthday, Rooney!" and she hugged me back and said, "Happy birthday, Mom!" And gosh, isn't that the truth? There will always be something about her birthday that feels like it's mine, too.
