her snappy outfit: jessie from the concrete catwalk
my friend jessie is a trendsetting, risk-taking and forward-thinking fashion consultant, stylist and style blogger who sells her vintage finds through the spice rack, regularly reports trends on the local news, and comes up with the best DIY projects! the best part is that she only lives a few hours from me and has invited me and eric to come down and hang out with her and her hubby. (p.s. i’m totally taking you up on that soon!)
kitty necklace - garage sale
dress - j. crew
vest - vintage; thrifted
scarf - i think it was my aunt’s (probably snatched from her when i was little)
ring - j. crew
flats - gap
bag - thrifted
These outfit photos were taken WAY earlier than I’m normally up (hence the tired eyes), and I had a full day ahead of me (hence the need for flats and a cotton dress), so I threw together the snappiest casual look I could muster. :)
I can already tell this comfy cotton dress is going to be a major summer staple for me, and I love it because it can obviously be dressed up or down in so many different ways. (And c’mon, who doesn’t love stripes!?) I’m planning on trying it next with a dark grey blazer and heels, and will probably even bring it to the beach to throw on over a swimsuit and top with my fave widebrimmed hat. Can’t beat it!
To see how I style it up next, be sure to come find me at The Concrete Catwalk, and you can also follow along on my adventures in fashion and beyond on Facebook and Twitter!
Thank you for having me, Kels! XOXO
