my favorite maternity clothes
My maternity wardrobe is fairly small, but I've found some gems this time around that I absolutely adore. I actually look forward to getting dressed! Last time I wanted to wear as few "maternity clothes" as possible, but this time I'm much more attracted to shirts with side-ruching that accentuate my belly. I really love pairing a comfy maternity T-shirt with maternity skinny jeans and a non-maternity bomber jacket (like this). I'm also looking forward to wearing lots of dresses this spring!
Here's what I'm wearing lately...
Old Navy vintage T-shirt: I have these vintage shirts in non-maternity (short- and long-sleeved) and wear them often, so I knew I would love the maternity version. There are also other colors available!
Gap soft jeans: I have these in black (worn here), and they're amazing. It was really important for me to find a pair of pants that were similar to my favorite non-maternity jeans but that worked with my growing belly. These have the full belly panel, which I love, but it is a little snug.
Old Navy maxi dress: This is really flattering! I bought the non-maternity and the maternity versions to try, and the maternity one is just so much more flattering because it hugs the belly.
ASOS skater dress: I have this in lime (worn here), and it's definitely my most-worn item this pregnancy. I kind of want to order the gray one, too! Old Navy has a similar version here.
Old Navy v-neck T-shirt: This isn't as soft as the vintage T-shirt, but I love the bright color options. I have it in mint, but also love the neon yellow.
Old Navy scoop neck T-shirt: I'm just living in T-shirts and skinny jeans over here.
Ingrid & Isabel belly leggings: I have four pairs of maternity leggings, and these are by far the best. I know $48 is a lot of money to spend on leggings, but I wear them multiple times per week and would also wear them postpartum. If the price tag is just too steep, these are a close second (the main difference is that the first ones have ruching on the back that help them stay up) and the fabric is the same.
ASOS striped T-shirt: I love this shirt! It did shrink up after washing, so I don't think it fits over my belly anymore, but I lived in it for the first couple months (worn here).
