where: work, midwife appointment

after a week of simple outfits, i really wanted to try out my six-item theory. plus it was 39 degrees outside when i woke up so i was all for layering. i think i could tweak this outfit just a bit (crop pants and flats, pocket protector, tape on my glasses) and wear it again next month for halloween. it is my least favorite holiday so i am always trying to find an easy and cheap costume from the things i already own. remember last year i was amelia earhart?

did you have a good weekend? my parents came down to visit and we had an awesome time enjoying each others’ company, the farmers’ market and three new-to-them restaurants. you can see photos from our weekend on our family and lifestyle blog.
