Christmas party with friends

we had such a wonderful time last night at our friends’ Christmas party. they have a beautiful house, and we were surrounded by great people, lots of yummy food, hot cocoa, Christmas music and laughter.

and then i won $43. seriously! i’m not much of a gamer, but we played left, right, center and i was the big winner. wahoo! take me shopping!

i knew i wanted to dress up and i was so happy that i had a couple hours to get ready. in the morning i don’t have time to play around in my closet, so this was a dream. i had a fun time trying on this sweater over six different dresses to find the best combination. i don’t get much use out of my dresses in the winter so this worked out really well, and the extra layer kept me warm! you can see that i took half of my photos and then realized i had forgotten to put my belt back on (i took it off to put on deodorant). i’m just glad i realized before we left the house!

we have another Christmas party tonight, so i’ll show you that outfit tomorrow. i still have no idea what i’m wearing…
