what I bought in March
Give me all the bright colors! My BFF Blake and I went to Kansas City last weekend for a shopping trip! We both know our House of Colour season, which made the hunt extra fun!
I hadn’t stepped foot in Express in years, but walked in to a winter dreamland with all the black, white, bright and icy colors. This month I also had luck at Gap, Old Navy and Target. I am eyeing some things at Athleta, LOFT and J.Crew Factory. I’m hoping Madewell gets the memo for bright colors soon!
How do you decide if you will keep or return something? I realized when I try something on, if I truly love it I will start dancing. Rooney has even been known to ask me, “It didn’t make you dance?” when I return something. Or, I will imagine someone taking it away from me and if it makes me sad, I know I really want to keep it. If I don’t care, I don’t buy/keep it. Yes, I’m odd. :)
I’m still not perfect at detecting which colors are winter, so a couple of these might not be. A couple were purchased secondhand via Poshmark so I was unable to link them. Now I’m on a hunt for emerald green, cobalt and royal blue. As you will see, I am even trying to branch out and wear lipstick. It reminds me of my nana, who always had red lips!
