before there were four

My dear friend Emily recently moved back to Des Moines and I was thrilled when she offered to take our maternity photos. She had a vision for a lifestyle "before there were four" shoot in our home and I immediately jumped on board. This will likely be our last pregnancy so I wanted to capture the bump as well as our family of three. Roo is pretty much the star of these photos with the bump in the background (which is very much an accurate depiction of our lives), so we also did a mommy + me maternity shoot in her studio that showcases the bump a bit more that I will share later! I get super stressed out before photo shoots, especially when they're in our home (choosing coordinating outfits and cleaning the house???), but these turned out beautifully and are so precious to me.
