A funeral is officially the worst event to have to pick out an outfit for, am I right? (Obviously they are not fun for other reasons as well.) I never met him, but if he was anything like his daughter, he was a talented storyteller with a wonderful sense of humor. It made me realize that there are many special people in the world who make an impact on others in ways they may never know.

Although terribly heartbreaking, funerals always seem to give me space and quiet time to think about what is really important in this life and where my priorities need to be realigned.

I also wore this outfit on Easter, to show death who's boss. (He is risen indeed!)
