I finally did it! By "it" I mean ombre-ing my hair, and by "finally" I mean I've been thinking about it (and pinning it) for a full year now.

ombre:hair color fading from dark to light, or vice versa

I'm not sure what got into me, but it might be a combination of the following:

I've been growing my hair out for a few years, and now I don't feel like I have a hairstyle besides "medium long."
My hair confidence is quite low because of the common post-baby hair loss and regrowth (which is coming in gray...).
Ombre seems to be one of the lowest-maintenance hair color tricks.

It took a couple hours (my stylist dyed my entire head, to cover my grays), and then it was time for the big reveal!

***drum roll please***

What do you think? I like it! I'm planning to keep it up. My only fear was that it would turn out orange, but I think we're in the clear. Sometimes it makes me feel like rock star :)
